On December 10^th, 2016, the talent contest took place. The contestants gave the audience energy in each performance, each of participant had a colorful personality and great talent, which made the audience aflame with cheering.

After the semi-final round, the Organizing Committee selected 20 best contestants to attend the final round for the city-wide contest, which will occur on January 14^th, 2017  in the evening at Ninh Kieu Quay Park, Can Tho City. In the final round, the contestants will compete in the events of: Evening Dress and Implementation of Conduct.

The contest is an occasion for students to interact with each other. Through this contest, they are learn aesthetics, how to build a civilized and positive lifestyle, and the knowledge, skills to achieve social integration.

Three students of Nam Can Tho University entered the final round of the 4^th Can Tho City Elegance Contest for Students, 2016 including:

1. Tran Kim Mai, Pharmacy discipline
2. Nguyen Thi Nhu Y, Tourism and Travel Management discipline
3. Nguyen Phuoc Loi, Economic Law discipline

On December 13^th, 2016, Nam Can Tho University also held the final round of the 2^nd Beauty Contest for Students, 2016. Tran Thi Kim Mai was the second winner of the contest and Nguyen Thi Nhu Y contestant reached the Top 5 of the contest.
