Nam Can Tho University (DNC) is a distinguished academic institution located in the heart of Can Tho city, specifically in the Ninh Kieu district.

Nam Can Tho University announces its admission plan for the academic year 2023, offering 41 undergraduate majors across various fields of study:

Method of admission for undergraduate programs

Method 1: Admission based on high school academic results (high school transcript).

Form 1: (admission based on the average score of grade 10, 11 and semester 1 of grade 12):

+  Average Score = (Average score of grade 10 + Average score of grade 11 + Average score of semester 1 of grade 12)

+ The minimum quality assurance threshold for Average Score is from 18.0 or higher.

Form 2 (admission based on the combination of 03 subjects in grade 12):

+ Average Score = (Average score of subject 1 in grade 12 + Average score of subject 2 in grade 12 + Average score of subject 3 in grade 12)

+ The minimum quality assurance threshold for Average Score is from 18.0 or higher.

Form 3 (admission based on the average score of grade 12):

+ Average Score = Average score of grade 12

+ The minimum quality assurance threshold for Average Score is from 6.0 or higher."

For the majors of Medicine, Pharmacy, Traditional Medicine (Soon), Dental Program (Soon), Candidates are required to have achieved excellent academic performance in Grade 12 or obtained a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher.;

For the majors of Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Preventive Medicine (Soon), Nursing (Soon), Candidates are required to have achieved good or higher academic performance in Grade 12 or obtained a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher.

Method 2: Admission based on high school graduation exam results

The minimum admission threshold will be determined by Nam Can Tho University's admission council, based on the 2023 high school graduation exam results. This threshold will ensure quality assurance for admission to the university.

The university’s admission council will follow the minimum quality standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training for medical majors. The council will announce the specific standards for these majors on the university’s website after the Ministry’s announcement.

Method 3: Admission based on the results of the 2023 capacity assessment test organized by universities or colleges (that have passed the Education Quality Accreditation)

Admission requirements: Candidates are required to have completed high school education and participate in the 2023 capacity assessment test organized by universities or colleges that have passed the Education Quality Accreditation

The university’s admission council will base the minimum quality standards for admission on the 2023 capacity assessment test results. Only universities or colleges (that have passed the Education Quality Accreditation) can organize this test. The council will announce the specific standards on the university’s website after they get the test results.
