1. Mission

Nam Can Tho University is a combination of training, research, and enterprise systems in the fields of health, socio-economics, and engineering technology. It is the address that creates opportunities to access higher education and startup for labor market segments in the Mekong Delta and throughout the country, and at the same time participates in integration into Southeast Asia.

2. Vision to 2045

- By 2030, Nam Can Tho University will become the leading startup-oriented private university in the Mekong Delta in the fields of health, socio-economics, and engineering technology on par with advanced universities in the country and in Southeast Asia.

- By 2045, Nam Can Tho University will become a combination of leading training, research, and innovation enterprise system in Vietnam in the fields of health, socio-economics, and engineering technology, providing human resources and solutions for growth, integration, and sustainable development in the Mekong Delta and the whole country.

3. Development Viewpoint

3.1 Invest in developing diverse levels and types of training to meet social requirements according to both populace and elite approaches, creating opportunities to access higher education and startup for labor market segments of the Mekong Delta and the whole country, especially the small and medium enterprise market segment.

3.2 Building a combination of training, research, and enterprise system with synchronous and modern facilities according to the Open Innovation approach and the Startup University model (Entrepreneurial University), proactively creating a Real-world experience environment right on the university campus, directly adding value and revenue for educational institutions, communities, and learners.

3.3 Develop a teaching staff with professional qualifications and high international integration ability, with active teaching methods, research, and innovation capabilities for sustainable development.

3.4 Design an appropriate organizational structure, and fully equipped with knowledge and startup skills, creating conditions for innovative activities of lecturers and learners.

3.5 Effective and substantive management of quality and brand at the same time. Building a friendly and responsible image of Nam Can Tho University to the domestic and international community.
