THE FACULTY OF LAW - NAM CAN THO UNIVERSITY HELD THE 3RD MOCK TRIAL IN 2020

Celebrate Vietnam Law Day (November 9) and celebrate the 38th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20. On the morning of November 19, 2020, the Faculty of Law - Nam Can Tho University held the 3rd mock trial. This is considered one of the annual activities of the Faculty of Law, a useful playground, and an indispensable factor in the study and research activities of Law students.

Attending the event was Judge Le Van Lo - judge of the People's Court of Phong Dien District, KSV Le Hong Thu - Director of the Procuracy of Thot Not District, MSc.LS Pham Hong Du - Director of Du & Associates Law Firm. On the side of Nam Can Tho University, there was Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University, Mr. Mai Viet Ut - Head of Political Affairs & Student Administration, Dr. Nguyen Thi My Linh - Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Research & International Cooperation, along with the teacher at the Faculty of Law and more than 500 students majoring in Law and Economic Law.

"Mock trial" is a special program of the Faculty of Law held annually for students studying at the University and especially those studying Law at Nam Can Tho University. Through this program, students of the Faculty of Law have more opportunities to exchange and learn from experts in the field of trial, defense, and legal issues in the current period. Besides, through the roles in the mock trial, the students will have the opportunity to rub and apply the knowledge they have learned in practice, practice their ability to argue, criticize, and above all, the integrity, sense of respect, and observance of the law in procedural activities at the court hearing.
