Nam Can Tho University inaugurated DNC Software Development and Application Center
NAM CAN THO UNIVERSITY INAUGURATED DNC SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION CENTER
Nam Can Tho University has just inaugurated the DNC Software Development and Application Center, valued at VND 100 billion. The aim of the center is to serve the educational and training needs, as well as the learning and practice needs of students in the fields of information technology.

At the inauguration ceremony of the DNC Software Development and Application Center on the morning of July 20th, 2023, Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Rector of Nam Can Tho University, said that this center would serve the purpose of education and training of staff and lecturers, and meeting the learning, internship, and practice needs of students studying information technology engineering majors.
“This is a place to help students gain the necessary conditions to interact with reality, contributing to perfecting their knowledge and improving skills after graduation. Simultaneously, the center contributes to supporting lecturers and students in the development of scientific research, applying information technology in line with the development trends of the 4.0 technology era.” Dr. Nguyen Van Quang emphasized.
The DNC Software Development and Application Center consists of seven floors, with a floor area of more than 7,500 m2, and a construction and equipment cost of approximately VND 100 billion. The project is invested in by Nam Can Tho University, constructed by the Nam Mien Nam Group, and designed by the Kim Long Construction Consultant Joint Stock Company.
The DNC Software Development and Application Center also creates information technology and software products to meet teaching needs and fulfill orders from companies and enterprises for management software to support socioeconomic development.
The university's modern facilities and equipment system serve more than 19,000 students studying and conducting scientific research under the "enterprise in university" model.
After more than 10 years of establishment and development, Nam Can Tho University was evaluated by the Ministry of Education and Training as having modern facilities and equipment, an outstanding green, clean, and beautiful campus in the Mekong Delta, meeting the educational quality accreditation standards and UPM four-star standards.
