Nam Can Tho University and Hue Central Hospital Sign Cooperation Agreement

Nam Can Tho University and Nam Can Tho University Medical Center have entered into a cooperation agreement with Hue Central Hospital, one of the three largest hospitals in Vietnam, to improve the quality of education and health care in the field of health. The agreement aims to strengthen the collaborative relationship in the development of the two parties, as well as to provide better medical services and training for the people.

What are the benefits of the cooperation agreement?

The cooperation agreement between the two parties focuses on the following important aspects:

Nam Can Tho University:

• Support human resource training and transfer medical techniques
• Enhance knowledge, teaching skills and scientific research capacity of lecturers and students
• Promote and provide quality human resources for society

Hue Central Hospital:

• Provide telemedicine
• Receive treatment for patients with severe and difficult diseases
• Share experience and pass on advanced medical technologies

The signing ceremony of cooperation between Hue Central Hospital and Nam Can Tho University and Nam Can Tho University Medical Center has a great significance not only for the school, but also opens up many opportunities for students, learners and lecturers of health majors at the school. It marks the milestones in cooperation and exchange between the two sides to consolidate and enhance knowledge, teaching skills and scientific research capacity. In addition, Nam Can Tho University will also strive to build and develop, create all conditions to support and connect in medical examination and treatment activities between the two hospitals.

For new students who want to pursue a career in health, Nam Can Tho University offers a variety of programs, such as General Medicine, Medical Imaging Technology, Laboratory Medicine Technique, Hospital Management, etc. These programs are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to work in the health sector, as well as to meet the demand for qualified health workers in society. 

• By cooperating with Hue Central Hospital, Nam Can Tho University will be able to update its curriculum and teaching methods according to the latest standards and innovations in the field of health. This will ensure that the students receive the most relevant and practical education that prepares them for their future careers.

For current medical students at Nam Can Tho University, the cooperation agreement with Hue Central Hospital will provide them with more opportunities to learn from the experts and access the advanced medical technologies at one of the leading hospitals in the country. They will also have the chance to participate in clinical practice, scientific research, and exchange programs with Hue Central Hospital, which will enhance their professional competence and experience. 

• For example, they will be able to observe and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with severe and difficult diseases, such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, organ transplants, etc. They will also be able to join in the research projects and publications of Hue Central Hospital, which will enrich their academic profile and network. Moreover, they will be able to interact and exchange ideas with their peers and mentors from Hue Central Hospital, which will broaden their perspective and inspire them to pursue excellence in their field.

At the signing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Quang - Rector of Nam Can Tho University shared about the development of Nam Can Tho University and Nam Can Tho University Medical Center in more than 10 years, as well as proposed directions and aspirations for cooperation between the two sides. He also expressed his gratitude to Hue Central Hospital for choosing Nam Can Tho University and Nam Can Tho University Medical Center as partners to sign cooperation agreements in Can Tho City.

The cooperation agreement between Nam Can Tho University & Nam Can Tho University Medical Center and Hue Central Hospital is a remarkable event that demonstrates the mutual trust and respect between the two parties. It also reflects their mission of “raising the health level for the people” by providing quality medical services, with experienced and highly qualified doctors. Through this agreement, they hope to contribute to the development of health education and health care in Vietnam.

Hue Central Hospital is one of the leading hospitals in Viet Nam in terms of the number of high-tech services applied in examination, treatment, as well as treatment of difficult cases with the highest success rate in the country.

The signing ceremony that took place today marked a significant milestone in the cooperative relationship between the two parties.
