1. Introduction

Nam Can Tho University has built and developed a business model in the university. The University established enterprises such as Nam Mien Nam Group, Nam Can Tho University Medical Center, Nam Can Tho DNC Trading Company Limited, and the DNC Heath Sciences Research and Training Institute. According to this model, to serve the needs of practice – internship for students of the Faculty of Automotive Mechanical Engineering, Nam Can Tho University has conditions to rub with reality, contributing to perfecting skills and improving skills for students after graduation. At the same time, serving the needs of repairing and shopping for cars for the people of Can Tho city in particular and the Mekong Delta region in general. The University invested in and built the DNC Automobile Showroom, the construction was officially started on February 20, 2019.

After 18 months of construction, up to now, the project completed on schedule, ensuring quality to put into use. This project was invested in by Nam Can Tho University, Nam Mien Nam Group was the main construction contractor and TAT Company is the design consultant. The project was built in a land area of more than 23,500 m², of which the floor area is 7,200 m², equipped with modern facilities, machinery, and equipment with a total investment value of more than VND 225 billion (equivalent to 10 million USD).

The construction was very successful which is the result of hard work, creativity, innovation, and solidarity of the collective of employees under the project management board of the construction project of the Automobile showroom Nam Can Tho DNC under the motto of pioneering leadership, above and below unanimously.

At the same time, on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the DNC Automobile Showroom, the showroom also launched and displayed a 9-seater electric car using solar cells produced and assembled by the faculty of Automotive Mechanical Engineering electric car has 9 seats integrated with green eco-friendly solar energy. Some technical parameters of a solar electric car such as Capacity of 9 seats and luggage, the maximum speed can reach 40 km/h, the main power source is 9 accu batteries (Lithium-ion with 12V/battery) using HPM-10KL-08D-PZ electric motor, can be used for 4-5 hours. Solar panels integrated and installed on the roof can provide auxiliary equipment on the car such as lights, horn signals, wipers, and speed display systems.

The DNC Trading Limited Company specializes in assembling, maintaining, warranty, trading, and trading, providing services in the field of automotive, food production, beverage, tourism, restaurant, and hotel management,… Students are studying automotive mechanics, in addition to practicing at the Automotive Mechanical Workshop on engines, chassis, electronics, cold, turning, milling, planing, and welding, students also learn and practice at the company.
