DEPARTMENT OF REAL ESTATE

1. INTRODUCTION

The Department of Real Estate has the function of teaching and researching in-depth in the fields of Real Estate management and business. The training program of the Real Estate sector will provide learners with knowledge in economics, finance, law, business, planning, and professional knowledge in brokerage, business, investment, and management for Real Estate.

With the goal of training to serve the socio-economic development, the training program provides knowledge and skills for learners who can perform the job of collecting information and analyzing the real estate market, and have many skills in implementing and managing many services and brokerage for real estate. In addition, the learners can participate in management as well as perform services at relevant agencies.

2. TRAINING OBJECTIVES

With a bachelor's degree program in real estate, the training program focuses on the following objectives:

- The learners have good knowledge and skills in state management of real estate and other related fields.

- Providing the learners the in-depth knowledge of business investment and many good services for the real estate field.

- The learners can participate in the formulation and planning of the policy for real estate, land management, and other related fields. Furthermore, the learners can establish and operate real estate investment and development companies.

- The learners have good knowledge in a professional capacity in both theory and practice. They can apply advanced technologies to well solve scientific and technical problems in the Real Estate industry.

3. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

After graduating from Real Estate at Nam Can Tho University, students can apply for the position of staff, managers of transaction offices, the Real Estate companies, or work as a real estate broker on their own, including:

• Brokers for Real estate, real estate agencies, and the project-planning departments for land, economy, and construction management.

• Real estate transaction office management.

• Business planning and development specialist for real estate.

• Real estate investment consultant.

• Real estate appraiser

• Real estate developers and managers

• Real estate investors

In addition, after studying Real Estate, students have the ability to work at:

• State administrative agencies in the fields of real estate and land management; Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Construction, Department of Land Management, Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Sub-Department of Land Management, Department of Finance, …

• Agencies, and research institutes on real estate and land.

• Universities, colleges, and professional schools with majors in Real Estate and another related majors.

• Real estate valuation and brokerage companies; the projects related to real estate business and investment; The center of real estate exploitation and business; many domestic and foreign companies are investing in the field of real estate.

4. QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING TIME

- Real estate graduate students at Nam Can Tho University will be awarded a Bachelor of Real Estate degree.

- Training system: Full time, with training time: 4 years (8 semesters).
