DNC - Cooperation signing between Nam Can Tho University and Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group Can Tho Branch
COOPERATION SIGNING BETWEEN NAM CAN THO UNIVERSITY AND VIETTEL MILITARY INDUSTRY AND TELECOMS GROUP CAN THO BRANCH
On the afternoon of June 7, 2023, at Nam Can Tho University, the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the University and the Viettel Can Tho branch took place. This event affirms and expands the cooperation relationship in fostering and developing high-quality human resources, contributing to the economic development of the country and the Mekong Delta region.

Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of Nam Can Tho University were Dr.- Lawyer Nguyen Tien Dung, Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Vo Tong Xuan, Rector Magnificus of the University; Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Rector of the university, and Dr. Tran Huu Xinh, Vice-Rector of the university. On the side of the Viettel Can Tho branch, there was Mr. Huynh Trung Kien, Director of Viettel Can Tho; Mr. Le Hong Phuc, Deputy Director of Information Technology Solutions; Mr. Dam Thai Thuoc, Deputy Director of Corporate Clients; Mr. Le Tan Duc, Deputy Director of Individual Customers; Mr. Trinh Ngoc Kien, Director of Viettel construction Can Tho branch; Mr. Dang Trong Man, Director of Viettel Can Tho Postal branch, and the attendance of guests, staff of the two units.

The signing of the cooperation agreement marks a new development in the development cooperation of both sides in order to exploit the potential of facilities, human resources, and experience of the two sides. With the purpose of strengthening the cooperation relationship between Nam Can Tho University and Viettel Group and creating information to connect the University and Viettel in promoting the brand and providing quality human resources for society. In addition, Viettel will support the University in organizing students to practice and work at its units. The scholarships will be awarded to students who overcome difficulties with good academic achievements as well as coordinate the organization of programs and events for learners.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Rector of Nam Can Tho University shared: “Nam Can Tho University is always ready to support and create conditions for units to come closer students, promptly supporting students when they need to find a job or an internship environment close to the needs of the major. Above all, this is also the beginning of many important and meaningful projects for both sides in the future.

The cooperation agreement is the basis for the two sides to jointly develop a specific and detailed cooperation plan in order to effectively exploit the resources and advantages of the two sides to achieve the set goals. Also, at the ceremony, leaders of the two units expressed their joy and believed that this signing event will also open up opportunities for the development of the two sides.
