COOPERATION SIGNING BETWEEN NAM CAN THO UNIVERSITY AND VIETTEL CAN THO BRANCH
On the afternoon of June 7, 2023, Nam Can Tho University and Viettel Group Can Tho branch held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement in order to promote scientific research, training, and fostering the quality of human resources to serve the socio-economic development strategy of Can Tho City with the following contents: Exchanging experience in training and scientific research in the field of telecommunications services and high-tech manufacturing; cooperation on improving professional qualifications and capacity for officials and employees of the two parties; cooperate and coordinate in organizing forums and seminars on telecommunications services, high-tech manufacturing, postal services, construction works, trade, import, and export; supporting digital transformation at Nam Can Tho University, support each other in the field of technology, services, commerce; support to receive internships for students majoring in technology, engineering, economics, and finance who are studying at Nam Can Tho University and give priority to receive graduate students to work.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Trung Kien, Director of Viettel Can Tho, by technology capacity, and by practical experience deployed at units, Viettel will be determined to bring smart solutions, smart choices, and roadmap smart so that the digital transformation process of Nam Can Tho University is implemented effectively, substantively, meeting the expectations of the university's leaders, teachers and students studying at the university.

Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Trung Kien said that in the near future, the Viettel branch in Can Tho will soon deploy technical solutions to quickly cover 5G for best-serve teaching work and study at Nam Can Tho University.

Speaking at the cooperation signing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of Nam Can Tho University said the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between Nam Can Tho University and Viettel Can Tho branch marks an important milestone towards enhancing the exchange of experience in training and scientific research in the fields of telecommunications services, high-tech manufacturing and a number of other fields such as postal services, construction works, trade, import, and export. This is also another clear sign of the strong and long-term partnership between the university and the Viettel Can Tho branch.
