Object: High school graduates

Criteria: According to the enrollment scheme of the University and the current enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The academic program includes 150 credits (including 140 compulsory credits and 10 elective credits), of which general knowledge occupies 35 credits, technology fundamental knowledge accounts for 37, specialized knowledge includes 68, and 10 of them are for graduation thesis, exclusive of Physical Education and National Defense Education.

The program shows a good balance between generic and specialized skills and knowledge. The program structure is coherent and the subjects and courses have been integrated.

Graduation conditions

  • Students who have fully completed 150 credits of the program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 5.0, are not involved in any criminal prosecution or under suspension and have certificates of Physical Education and National Defense Education are considered qualified for graduation.
  • Have a foreign language proficiency of 3/6 (B1) according to the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework for Vietnam or equivalent
  • Meet the output standards of soft skills and Vocational skills;

 

Job Position

- Undertake technical work, technical - technological of quality management at enterprises in the field of research, design, assembly, production of cars, engines, and tractors,...

- Work in vehicle registries; transport companies, companies exploiting mechanized construction equipment; Machine repair factories for ships, trains, erection companies ... In addition, automotive mechanical engineers can organize enterprises operating in specialized areas on their own.

- Consulting, designing, and conducting scientific research and technology transfer in the fields of automotive technology; internal combustion engines; tractors; construction motorcycles, and high-tech agricultural machines at research institutes, centers, and research agencies of ministries, branches, universities, and colleges related to automobile mechanics, movers, traffic construction mechanization, high-tech agricultural machines.

- Be able to participate in the teaching of specialized automotive subjects; engines; motorcycles specialized in universities, colleges, and professional secondary schools with related industries.

6. The Expected Learning Outcomes of the Automotive Engineering Technology Program

Graduate Performance Standard

General knowledge

PO1:      Understand the Philosophy of Marxism - Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Ideology, the revolutionary line of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Vietnamese law, taking that as a basis for cultivating political ethics; Have basic knowledge in the fields of nature, social sciences, and humanities suitable to the major trained;

PO2:      Apply knowledge of National Defense Education and have health, thereby training awareness and responsibility to defend the country.

PO3:      Achieve foreign language proficiency in English and Informatics as prescribed by the school (on Informatics, meeting modules 1 to 6 of the skills standard for using information technology according to Circular 03/2014/TT-BTTT); have knowledge and ability to use foreign languages and information technology to serve the process of learning and professional research;

Technology Fundamental Knowledge

PO4:      Have specialized knowledge of equipment systems in the field of Automotive Mechanical Engineering and other related fields;
