On the morning of July 6, Nam Can Tho University held a ceremony to announce the decision and award the certificate of accreditation of educational institutions. On this occasion, the university also inaugurated an automobile mechanic workshop.

Previously, the evaluation team conducted a survey at Nam Can Tho University from the beginning of March 2018. By the end of May 2018, in Binh Dinh, the university had reported to the Education Accreditation Council. And the Council voted to recognize the standards and grant the Education Accreditation Certificate to Nam Can Tho University with a rate of 10/10.

Educational accreditation is an important activity throughout the entire process of training organization, scientific research, etc. in the past 5 years of the university, since its establishment. Based on the accreditation results, the university has the basis to accurately identify the strengths, to develop a plan to improve and improve the quality of training.

In 2018, the university enrolled 21 undergraduate majors such as medicine, pharmacy, real estate, law... Accordingly, the university recruited 2,950 regular university students, 60 master's students, 250 study-by-work students, and more. 150 connected program students…

Also on the morning of July 6, this university inaugurated a car mechanic workshop for teaching. The workshop has a usable area of 1,200 m2 ^, including 2 floors, fully equipped with an investment capital of about 25 billion VND in phase 1. Phase 2, the school will invest another 25 billion VND for equipment.

In order for the workshop to operate effectively, the university has signed a cooperation agreement with two enterprises, TaTa International and ISUZU An Khanh , to help mechanical students practice and have the opportunity to find jobs.
