Workshop "Connecting businesses and employment positions of graduates of Automotive Engineering Technology"
On the morning of June 23, 2022, Nam Can Tho University held a workshop on "Connecting businesses and employment positions of graduates in automotive engineering technology" with the participants such as Dr. Lawyer – Nguyen Tien Dung – President of the Council of Nam Can Tho University, President of Nam Can Tho DNC Trading One Member Company Limited; Dr. Nguyen Van Quang – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University and leaders of units in the University.

The workshop aimed to create conditions for students of Automotive Engineering Technology who graduated and will graduate in 2022 to have the opportunity to find suitable jobs and positions. Helping students who are learning step-by-step orient and approach the requirements of the business. Through the program, the university has a basis to orient training strategies in accordance with social needs.
The workshop went through 5 papers, respectively (1) MSc. Nguyen Van Tong Em - Vice Dean of Mechanical Dynamics Department of Nam Can Tho University with the topic "Faculty of Mechanical Dynamics - Training, Development and Business Connection"; (2) Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh - Deputy General Director of SAMCO with the topic "Trends-Prospects of the automotive industry in Vietnam"; (3) Mr. Kien Sa More (Service Manager - ISUZU An Khanh Joint Stock Company (ISUZU Can Tho) with the topic "The situation of resource needs of the automotive engineering industry in general and in the Mekong Delta"; (4 ) Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien - Technical Manager of Engine Lubricants, TotalEnergies Marketing VietNam Company (TEMV) with the topic "Career opportunities - Challenges for new energy"; (5) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Thanh Cong – Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City with the topic “Some effective university study skills in automotive engineering in a new context”. Besides, the seminar was also an opportunity to Automotive engineering students asked questions, strengthened their knowledge, and were answered by experienced experts in this field.

The workshop attracted more than 200 students from the automotive engineering sector to participate, with the desire to gain more experience to prepare for the job after graduation, and at the same time accumulate knowledge from now on and improve more that can help students get job opportunities and good positions in the work.
