The inauguration of multifunctional practice area (Block E) of Nam Can Tho University
On June 9, 2020 Nam Can Tho University (DNC) solemnly held the inauguration ceremony of the Multifunctional Practice Area and the Research and Development Institute for Medicinal Materials. Leaders, former leaders of Can Tho city , companies, businesses, distinguished guests, delegates of the school, office staff, lecturers and students attended the event.
Over 7 years of construction and development Nam Can Tho University has achieved certain achievements. Our facilities have been more spacious with modern training environment and international models. Nam Can Tho University always pays attention to ensuring and improving the quality of education. DNC has been awarded the Certificate of Educational Quality Accreditation by Vietnam Association of Universities and Colleges and the National Center for Education Quality Accreditation for 4 regular university-level programs which are Pharmacy, Economics Law, Business Administration and Civil Engineering. Strengthening internships, practices and improving professional skills for students are noticed and timely built up. DNC has also invested in facilities construction for teaching and learning such as Nam Can Tho General Hospital, Nam Can Tho Auto Showroom, in which the multifunctional practice area (block E) is one of the most significant investing term. The construction area which is over 10,000m2 with 18,000m2 includes six floating floors and a basement with a total investment of about 200 billions dong. The project is aimed at satisfying practical demands of DNC students and providing them perfect skills after graduation. Moreover, the project is a place to support lecturers and students in the development of scientific research.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the multifunctional practice area DNC also inaugurated the Research and Development Institute for Medicinal Materials located in the multifunctional practice area. The Institute was established to serve the activities of learning, training and specialized scientific researches on health, making of medicinal products to support disease prevention and treatment. The Institute has successfully researched and released 03 products including 01 product of GOUT disease , 01 product of liver treatment, 01 hand sanitizing gel with DNC brand recognized by Food Safety Department - Ministry of Health. The Institute is going to research and launch products to support the treatment of diabetes, cardiovascular and energy-boosting from medicinal materials. The future orientation of DNC will be diversifying and making more products to develop the strength of Vietnam's medicinal resources in general and Mekong Delta region's in particular.
The inauguration event shows the determination of the leaders and lecturers of DNC who always believe and are proud of our mission in giving quality, achievements and advanced academic environment to Vietnamese young people with the integration ability and professional skills on the path of their life.
