(DNC) On Mar 05, there were thousands of high school pupils participating in The Enrolment Consulting and Vocational Orientation Fair 2017 at Nam Can Tho University (NCTU), and had a look at NCTU kios in the event held by NCTU and Tuoi Tre Newspaper (Youth Newspaper) at Cantho University.

Joining the event, NCTU impressed the potential candidates with useful information about its modes of enrolment, the high school graduation exam, and university admissions in 2017.

Beautifully decorated NCTU kios attracted crowds of candidates for enrolment information and participation in many exciting activities like: art performances, gifts lucky draws, free soft drink delivery, and architecture models done by NCTU students. NCTU lecturers as well as students wrote and gave calligraphy letters to the candidates.

In 2017, NCTU provides two modes of enrolment: via pupil study transcripts and the result from the National High School Graduation Exam. This offers a wide range of study at NCTU, in particular as follows:

NCTU offers 19 undergraduate majors including Pharmacy, Accounting, Finance and Banking, Business Administration, Tourism and Travel Management, Land Management, Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Public Relations (PR), Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Technology, Economic Law, Environmental Engineering, Food Technology, Real Estate, Information Technology, Medical Test Study, Medical Imaging, and Automotive Technology.

NCTU also cooperates with The Southern College to provide associate bachelor majors such as Nursing, Pharmacy, Accounting, Finance - Banking, Business Administration, Legal Services, Hotel Administration, Applied Informatics, Civil Engineering, Land Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Tourism and Travel Management, Medical Imaging, Midwifery, Medical Test , Automotive Technology, Dental Rehabilitation Techniques, Restaurant Administration and Catering Services.

In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training has also allowed NCTU to offer various training programs such as transfer programs from associate’s degrees and college degrees to bachelor degrees; and to associate training programs for masters, colleges; degree 2; work and study at the same time.

¬ At NCTU

On March 05, NCTU welcomed thousands of teachers and high school pupils coming to NCTU for sight-seeing and seeking for information about the modes of enrolment and vocational orientation in 2017.

 

There are roughly more than 7000 times of visiting at NCTU

 

Inviting high schools to NCTU for sight-seeing, NCTU would like to help its potential students better understand learning conditions, and so help them have motivation and better decision for their graduate study while the 2017 High School Graduation Examination is coming soon.

Thanks to this activity, high school teachers, pupils’ parents and the candidates are consulted by NCTU staff about training programs at NCTU, modes of sending enrolment application documents in order to optimize their chances of studying at university in general and at NCTU in particular.

In addition, pupils have a chance to firsthand see the NCTU modern facilities such as lecture halls, practicum areas, an excellent library, a well-equipped dormitory and a sports complex including artificial football pitches, basketball, badminton, volleyball and tennis courts.

Especially, with many attractive performances to welcome high school visits such as art performances and games, visitors have enthusiastically enjoyed the tour.

Over the past years, NCTU has always invested heavily with clear focuses in the enrolment consultancy activities.
