Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy visited and worked with Nam Can Tho University
On November 26th, 2018, Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy (TNU-UMP) paid a working visit to Nam Can Tho University (NCTU).

VISITED AND WORKED WITH NAM CAN THO UNIVERSITY
On November 26th, 2018, Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy (TNU-UMP) paid a working visit to Nam Can Tho University (NCTU).

The delegation visiting and working with NCTU included Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Son, Rector of TNU-UMP, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Hieu, Director of the Department of Academic Affairs, together with lecturers and representatives from TNU-UMP’s Departments.
The delegation was received by Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Vice Rector of NCTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hung Luc, Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of NCTU, along with leaders from NCTU’s Units.
At the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Vice Rector of NCTU delivered a welcome speech, wished good health to leaders, lecturers and students at TNU-UMP. On this occasion, Dr. Nguyen Van Quang said that “This is an important turning point in promoting the cooperation between NCTU and TNU-UMP in providing training activities in the field of medicine in the coming time. I believe that the cooperative relationship between the two universities will not be limited to the major of medicine, but it will extensively include many different majors of study to create opportunities for lecturers and students between the two sides to exchange and share their experience and knowledge.”

Also at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hung Luc, Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of NCTU shared teaching methods and the curriculum for training medical students at NCTU.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Son, Rector of TNU-UMP also offered thanks to the Rectorate Board of NCTU and expressed his expectation to regard the working session as a foundation for the extensive and deep cooperation between the two universities in the future.
After the working meeting, leaders from the Rectorate Board of TNU-UMP paid visits to NCTU’s facilities, such as Campus A specializing in medicine with functional rooms, lecture halls, laboratories for performing experiments and practical work; Campus B specializing in pharmacy with laboratories equipped with modern equipment; the administration building; the electronic library; the workshop of automobile and mechanics, etc
