TECHTALK 3: "SDAC - The first steps towards AI and IoT”

On May 16, 2023, the Information Technology Club and the DNC Software Development and Application Center co-hosted the TechTalk 3 program “SDAC - The first steps towards AI and IoT” at the central hall (Sector D) of Nam Can Tho University (DNC).

This program was a great opportunity for participants to learn about the latest trends in Information Technology, such as cloud computing, big data, machine learning, and cybersecurity. The program also featured speakers and experts who shared their insights and experiences on how AI and IoT can be applied to various fields, such as education, health care, agriculture, and smart cities. The program aimed to inspire participants to solve current social problems and contribute to the sustainable development of the country with innovative solutions using AI and IoT

AI and IoT are two of the most promising and highly valued technology fields in the modern digital era. By merging AI - artificial intelligence and IoT - Internet of Things, new technologies can be developed that can help businesses and organizations boost their efficiency and user experience. Therefore, it is vital for Information Technology students to expand their knowledge, to prepare for their future and stay ahead of the curve.

The program provided participants with an opportunity to update their knowledge about AI and IoT, as well as to connect and collaborate with leading experts in this field. Some of the issues discussed in the program include:

• Basic concepts of AI and IoT.
• Applications of AI and IoT in everyday life.
• Achievements of the DNC Software Development and Application Center.
• Experiences of the interns at the Center who worked on real-life projects involving AI and IoT.

The program was a valuable opportunity for the participants to interact directly with the experts of the DNC Software Development and Application Center and learn about the role of AI and IoT in the current 4.0 technology era. They also got to experience the products that the interns at the center & IT club implemented using these technologies. Nam Can Tho University is committed to providing students with high-quality education and training that meets the labor demand for society. The university will always support students to gain practical experience at the center and foster a learning environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
