A. TRAINING GOALS

1. General objective

The goal of the program is to train bachelor of medical technology with medical ethics, specialized knowledge, and professional skills. They will apply advanced techniques to discover diseases based on imaging from measured signals, and images obtained by a variety of methods including modeling and simulation to support functional examination and solve problems of intervention in anatomy.

Upon completion of the training program in Medical Imaging Technology, learners will have good political and ethical qualities, be able to research and self-study to improve their qualifications and meet the needs of protection, care, and improvement of human health.

2.  Specific goals

M1. Having knowledge and the ability to apply acquired knowledge to specific jobs in the field of Medical Imaging in medical, business, training, and scientific research facilities.

M2. Forming and developing capacity for professional work, scientific research, improving personal qualifications and skills, and participating in community health activities.

M3. Expert knowledge in X-ray, CT, MRI, CT, and medical equipment to meet the requirements of work such as collecting, processing, and analyzing image results. Capable of operating, maintaining, and maintaining equipment, procurement, and inventory of chemicals and equipment, ensuring safety and biosecurity in the workplace and the community.

M4. Knowledge related to the organization and quality management of the Diagnostic Imaging Department in medical institutions, cooperating units, and business establishments in the field of Medical Imaging.

M5. Knowledge of problem solving, risk prevention, biosecurity, infection control, and troubleshooting and prevention of possible incidents in the department where professional work is performed.

M6. Developing professional working skills, communication skills, teamwork, disease response, self-study skills, self-study in specialized fields, and being able to adapt to specific work situations.

B. OUTPUT  STANDARDS

1. Knowledge

PO1: Fully equipped with basic scientific knowledge, basic medicine, and scientific knowledge methodology in engineering practice, study, and research.

PO2: Fully equipped with knowledge of principles, rules, and procedures for operating, preserving, and maintaining equipment in the Medical Imaging Engineering major. Understand the dangers of radiation and ensure radiation safety for patients, their relatives, and medical staff during diagnostic services for patients.

PO3: Fully equipped with specialized knowledge in Imaging Engineering, mastering the process of performing imaging projection techniques, evaluating image quality on diagnostic equipment including X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT-Scans), Magnetic Resonance (MRI), Vascular Intervention (DSA), Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation Therapy.

PO4: Understanding of laws, policies, and regulations in the health sector and in medical examination and treatment, with the aim of improving people's health.

2. Advanced skill

2.1 Specialist skills

PO5: Proficient in common X-ray techniques and contrast-enhanced X-ray techniques, computed tomography (CT-Scans), and Magnetic Resonance

PO6: Analyze and Imaging (MRI). evaluate the quality of X-ray images and detect abnormal expressions on the obtained images.

2.2 Soft skills
