Mr. Nguyen Huu Trang, former Ambassador of Vietnam to the Federal Republic of Germany and Representative of the Mecklenburg - Vorpommern Office made a special visit to DNC and exchanged ideas on how to strengthen international relations

On the morning of April 12, 2023, Mr. Nguyen Huu Trang, former Ambassador of Vietnam to the Federal Republic of Germany and Representative of the Mecklenburg - Vorpommern Office had an exciting opportunity to visit Nam Can Tho University and exchange ideas on how to strengthen international relations. During his visit, he learned about the school’s training programs, human resources, facilities and international cooperation.

The university has the vision to provide more opportunities for students and establish Nam Can Tho University as a prominent center for applicational education that meets various and evolving needs of the country’s and the Mekong Delta region’s advancement. Fostering a culture of academic research, innovation and international collaboration with a steadfast commitment to academic excellence and strategic partnership is a goal of the vision.

The exchange session was honored by the participation of Mr. Nguyen Huu Trang, former Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany and Head of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Office in Vietnam; Mr. Pham Quoc Hung and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung from the reputable German health group Medigreif; and Mr. Ngo Anh Duy Thinh from Techgermany, a state-of-the-art subsidiary of Erc Group Germany.

On the side of Nam Can Tho University, there was the participation of Dr. Nguyen Van Quang - Rector of the University, together with representatives of the Departments, Faculties, and Centers of the University.

The purpose of this session was to coordinate and promote cooperation programs on training in the field of healthcare, tourism, and mechanics. Furthermore, they discussed cooperation in vocational training, skilled and seasonal labor, and other aspects related to international cooperation, education, training, and scientific research for instructors and students.

During the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, the Rector of Nam Can Tho University, expressed his appreciation to the former Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany and his delegation for their visit to the university. He stated that this was a good opportunity to learn more about education and research programs and to enhance academic cooperation with international universities.

The representative of Nam Can Tho University expressed their hope that the MV office would facilitate the collaboration with leading experts and scientists who could engage in academic and cultural exchanges, vocational training, and specialized seminars in various fields such as healthcare, tourism, mechanics, etc. These activities could be conducted both in-person and online to enhance the research, teaching, and learning capacities of the faculty and students of the university.
