2. TRAINING OBJECTIVES

2.1 General objective

The Master's degree program in Economic Law (application-oriented) of Nam Can Tho University aims to train learners to master in-depth theoretical knowledge about the economic legal system, through which learners have the ability to smoothly apply the knowledge of economic law to be able to solve complex legal issues related to the legal field; capable of self-research, independent and creative work, skilled in law practice to meet the requirements of the labor market in the context of the 4.0 technology revolution.

2.2 Detail objectives

The training program at the Master of Economic Law aims at the following specific objectives:

M1: Equip learners with in-depth professional knowledge in the field of economic law and related knowledge.

M2: Train learners with legal practice skills, able to apply the law to solve complex legal issues related to the legal field.

M3: Help learners have the ability to work independently, be creative, and have the ability to detect and solve problems; capable of self-study, self-study for life.

M4: Train learners in loyalty to the Fatherland, a sense of law observance and social responsibility; have a spirit of community service, have good professional ethics.

3. TRAINING PROGRAM STRUCTURE

3.1 General knowledge modules: 14 credits.

- 08 credits of compulsory courses;

- 06 credits of elective courses.

3.2 Subjects in the group of basic and specialized knowledge: 37 credits

- 18 credits of compulsory courses in the group of basic and specialized knowledge;

- 12 credits of elective courses in the group of basic and specialized knowledge.

- 07 credits of specialized internship.

3.3 Graduation thesis: 9 credits.

Total credits of training program: 60 credits.

4. STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM

4.1 General knowledge modules (14 credits)

General knowledge modules consist of 14 credits, there are 08 credits of compulsory courses and 06 credits of elective courses.

4.1.1 Compulsory courses of general knowledge subjects (08 credits)

4.1.2 Elective courses in the general knowledge subjects (06 credits)

4.2 Courses in the basic and specialized knowledge subjects (30 credits):

Courses in basic and specialized knowledge consist of 30 credits, there are 18 credits of compulsory courses and 16 credits of elective courses.

4.2.1 Compulsory courses in the basic and specialized knowledge subject (18 credits)

4.2.2 Elective courses in the basic and specialized knowledge subjects (12 credits)

Elective courses in the basic and specialized knowledge subjects consist of 12 credits (there are 04 credits of elective courses in the basic and 08 credits of specialized knowledge).

4.3 Specialized internship

The specialized internship consists of 07 credits, done by learners at other agencies and organizations and assessed in the form of writing essays and grading/presenting according to the plan of the specialized faculty. The results of professional practice are shown in the transcripts of the courses of the course.

4.4 Graduation thesis

The graduation thesis consists of 09 credits, meeting the requirements on content and form according to current regulations.
