LEARNING PROMOTION ASSOCIATION OF NAM CAN THO UNIVERSITY

1. INTRODUCTION

On October 4, 2017, the Association for Promoting Education of Can Tho City issued Decision No. 29/QĐ-CN.HKH on the establishment of the Learning Promotion Association of Nam Can Tho University and recognized its Executive Committee including 8 members, in which Dr. Tran Huu Xinh holds the position of President of the Association.

2. FUNCTION, MISSION

Nam Can Tho University is invested in and operated by experienced and dedicated teachers. With the motto "student-centered", the University not only focuses on improving the quality of training but also accompanies learners throughout the learning and training process.

The establishment of the Learning Promotion Association once again affirms that Nam Can Tho University not only cares deeply about the academic life and activities of students but also a place to gather and mobilize resources from organizations, individuals including philanthropists, sponsors, and many friendly businesses, lecturers, officials, alumni - students... with enthusiasm and gratitude to support and help students with academic achievements excellent to overcome difficult and challenging circumstances, develop strengths, and to actualize their own ambitions at the Nam Can Tho University.

In addition, the Learning Promotion Association also offers scholarships to encourage and motivate students with good academic achievements in all fields, scholarships for valedictorians, and freshmen with high scores.

The Learning Promotion Association of Nam Can Tho University has received a lot of attention and help from the City Council. Can Tho, the University Council, the Party Committee, the Rectorate, the Faculty, the Departments, the staff, teachers, and employees. Especially the interest and help of philanthropists, sponsors, banks, companies, and enterprises have provided financial support, and learning tools,... to help the Association grow up.

The Learning Promotion Association of Nam Can Tho University strives for the common development goal of the University to support the cause of education - training, activities to improve people's knowledge, training human resources, and fostering human resources talent nurturing.

With its active activities, the Learning Promotion Association of Nam Can Tho University has made a very active contribution to the study and promotion of talents of the University in particular as well as of the society in general.

3. HUMAN RESOURCES

The Executive Board of the Learning Promotion Association of Nam Can Tho University consists of 08 members. In which, Dr. Tran Huu Xinh holds the position of President of the Association.

4. ACTIVITIES

In recent years, the study and talent promotion work of Nam Can Tho University has achieved many significant results: Information work, propaganda of directives and resolutions of the Party and State on studies promotion, talent promotion is always maintained, creating unity of action, contributing to the excellent performance of assigned political tasks. The work of building associations and developing members is always a concern. The Executive Board of the Association always attaches great importance to the inspection and supervision of the association's organization and members in implementing the Party and State guidelines, policies, and laws on study and talent promotion. The Study Promotion Fund is effectively built, managed, and promoted. The study promotion has many innovations, making an essential contribution to improving the training quality of the University.
