STUDENT AFFAIRS

Introduction Information

 

1. The Department of Political Affairs-Student Management (CTCT&QLSV) was established under Decision No. 25A/QD-CTHDQT-ĐHNCT dated September 10, 2013, and is one of the departments under the management of Nam Can Tho University.

2. Organizational structure: The Department of Information Technology and Management has five members, including one Head of Department and four Specialists. In terms of qualifications, there is one Master and four bachelors.

3. The Department of Student Affairs and Management has the function of advising and taking responsibility to the Board of Directors for the implementation of student management in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the regulations of the school.

5. Mission

- Organizing political, ideological, ethical, and lifestyle educational activities for students; propagandizing the protection of security, order, traffic safety, and the prevention of social evils in schools and the living environments of students

- Actively coordinate with departments, faculty, centers, etc. in the management of observing rules and regulations for students; manage and monitor the learning and living situation; comment on and evaluate all student activities according to student work regulations; carry out the work of emulation, commendation, and discipline of students; participate in the standing committee of student emulation, commendation, and discipline.

- Evaluate and manage students' training scores.

- Advising the Head Teacher/Academic Advisor, the Class Committee, Personnel, and the School's Team Self-Management their work.

- Implement policies and regimes related to students, such as advising the Board of Directors on applying for a reduction in tuition fees, and social allowances, and considering granting scholarships to students.

- Management of internal and external work activities, management of admission records, and management of student accounts.

- Confirming students' applications to credit loans, postponements of military service, and student activities during their studies at the school.

- Coordinate with departments, faculties, centers, etc. in the school to organize a week of civic activities for students at the beginning of the course, activities at the beginning of the school year and the end of the course, and issue student handbooks, issue student cards, and develop a student dialogue plan.

- Coordinate with relevant units to organize the opening, closing, and enrollment consulting.

- Collect and provide evidence related to the Department's tasks to serve the quality accreditation of education.

- Support for primary health care and student services as prescribed; organize medical examinations at the beginning of the course for students according to regulations, etc.

- Participate in other activities assigned by the school's governing council.
