In the integration period, Information Technology is one of the key industries that bring about outstanding development for science and technology. Therefore, the Information Technology has become a "hot" subject and attracts a lot of young people, especially those who love computers and are passionate about technology.

WHAT IS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Information Technology (IT) is a branch of engineering that uses computers, computer software, and the Internet to convert, store, protect, process, transmit, and collect information.

Information Technology plays a very important role in the industrial revolution 4.0 (modern, friendly, flexible, intelligent, and powerful).

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

Studying Information Technology at DNC, students will be equipped with the following groups of knowledge and skills:

About knowledge: Students are equipped with general knowledge and background knowledge (computing models, data, algorithms, information processing, database management and information systems, graphic techniques, etc.), and in-depth theory (software engineering, web technology, cloud computing, IoT, BigData, AI, etc.).

About skills: Equip students with basic skills (Script programming, using APIs, Platform libraries, etc.), and advanced skills (web programming, mobile, windows, Linux, IoT, etc.). In addition, students are also trained in soft skills such as communication, negotiation, independent and teamwork skills; skills in fact-finding, document analysis, and effective use of information.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates of Information Technology are able to work in the following positions:

- Engineers analyze, design and manage information systems and databases for businesses, administrative and social organizations.

- Management of Information Technology projects in enterprises.

- Operating and managing software systems.

- Information Technology specialist in agencies and enterprises.

- Information Technology research and teaching staff at research institutes and training institutions.

QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING TIME

- Students after graduating from Information Technology at DNC will receive the degree of Information Technology Engineer.

- Training duration: 4.5 years (equivalent to 9 semesters).
