To carry out terms of regulation applied for divisions in Union 4 of education and training sector, Nam Can Tho university hosted a soccer day with the participation of 5 teams including Nam Can Tho university, Engineering and technology university, Tay Do university, Can Tho college, Can Tho vocational college on may 23^rd 2018 with the slogan: experience exchange and doing exercise to be healthy.

 The soccer day was the opportunity for lecturers and staff to get achievements for year 89^th  of   Vietnam union anniversary ( July 28^th 1929- July 28^th 2018). Moreover, Universities’ union could be closer in not only relationship but also in work and management due to this event

The champion was Engineering and technology university’s soccer team. NCTU got the second position. Can Tho college got the third position. Two consolation prizes belonged to Tay Do University and Can Tho vocational college
