In the morning of April 23 2019 Nam Can Tho University inaugurated the swimming pool being a part of recreation facilities serving our students after classes.

 NCTU is the first Mekong Delta university having a national standard swimming pool with more than 1200 m2 and the investment of 10 billion Dong. There are pools for children, adults as well as other facilities. This is one of target facilities built in order to support students in relaxation so that NCTU will be in the list of modern universities in the area.

 This inauguration is signigicant when summer time is coming so that NCTU can serve well our students, lecturers and Can Tho citizens. Moreover, basic swimming classes and classes for the gifted ones are going to be conducted so that NCTU can contribute our efforts in the starting up and national security.

In the inauguration Dr. Nguyen Van Quang said” our swimming pool is going to show it’s significant role in supplying swimming classes in Mekong Delta so as to prevent drowning under the requirement of the MOET. We strongly believe that sport facilities will make students healthy and help them study well”

The learning resource center, lecturers’ resort, NCTU restaurant, tennis court, GYM center, art room, outside exercise machine, walking tracks give students more and more recreation facilities.
